Pattern #1505 – Lacy Baby Hoodie

In the hood directions, there is a missing line (in red, underlined in bold, below).

 

Hood-

Using the smaller 24 inch circular needle, beginning at right

front edge of neck with the right side of work facing you, pick

up the following amounts:

14 (16, 18, 20) sts across right front.

5 (6, 7, 8) sts across top of right sleeve.

18 (20, 22, 24) sts across back neck.

5 (6, 7, 8) sts across top of left sleeve.

14 (16, 18, 20) sts across left front.

Next row- sl 1, k 3, p to within 4 sts of end of row, k 4.

Next row- sl 1, k to end of row.

Work the last 2 rows 2 more times.

Changing to larger 24 inch needle, continue in stockinette stitch,

keeping the first and last 4 stsin garter stitch and slipping the first stitch in every row until

hood measures 8 (8½, 8½, 9) ins, ending after working a

wrong side row.

Bind off all sts, fold hood in half and sew top of head seam.

The seam can also be closed with 3 needle bind off or

kitchener stitch.
